“The FUNDACION HOGARES PROVIDENCIA is a non-governmental non-for profit organization (NGO) established with the sole mission of alleviating the situation of homeless children in El Salvador”.

One of the greatest problems faced by Salvadoran society is the specific situation of homeless girls and boys living under very high-risk conditions.

Social, economic and cultural factors are the main components of this situation, which causes direct impact on the Salvadoran society, in turn resulting in high levels of poverty, family disintegration, child abandonment, mistreatment, abuse of alcohol, drugs, delinquency and prostitution.

MISSION
“Ensure that the rights of the minors living and / or remaining on the streets of El Salvador, are complied with, whilst offering them as well, a new opportunity for individual development”.

VISION
Eliminate the high incidence of minors living and/or remaining on the streets of El Salvador.

GOALS
Guarantee the rehabilitation, education and reintegration of the girls and boys living under high-risk conditions into society, through the implementation of educational programs to encourage favorable changes in the children, families and society as a whole, turning them into self-sufficient and useful members of society.
